The challenge for the architectural team was to design a home that would benefit from it’s location, close to the  village life while at the same time securing privacy for the family and benefitting from the amazing panoramic views of the ocean and pine forests.

 

The home is designed to be built on three levels with car access to the double garage and storage at the lower road level, with direct stairway to the house. The main entrance is on the middle level with an open plan living area that leads on to a large terrace with views of the Ocean. On the upper level there are is a bathroom and two bedrooms that lead onto a terrace with stunning sea views.

A boutique complex of modern apartments set in a small urbanization of only 11 properties, with stunning views of the Bay of Sao Martinho do Porto. The remit to the Architect was to design a building that would be iconic in design, abdicating the traditional block design for a building that is modern and with a design that challenges traditional symmetry. 

 

The building has six apartments with private balconies and varying views of the countryside and the famous natural shell shaped bay of Sao Martinho do Porto. Facilities in the building include undercover parking and an elevator to the roof terrace with a roof top swimming pool that has 360º views of the bay and the Portuguese countryside.
